5There are four double bedrooms (one with en-suite toilet and shower room), a single bedroom and two twin rooms (one of which can be made into a triple). Also upstairs there is a family bathroom (shower over bath) and separate toilet. There are is a further shower room and shower and toilet. The kitchen is large and well equipped with plenty of cooking space for larger groups, in addition to a large larder/cold store with 2nd tall fridge and chest freezer. Next to the kitchen you will find the porch with washing machine and dryer. A spacious boot room at the rear exterior door is great for arriving back into with muddy boots. The sitting room has an open fire, with views overlooking the front garden. One sofa can extend to a sofa-bed for larger parties (with memory foam topper) There is plenty of seating for up to 16 guests in the dining room The gardens to the front and rear of the property are enclosed, with the covered swimming pool and views across to the surrounding countryside.
To the front of the property is a level garden, enclosed by a metal fence. To the side/rear of the Upcott Farmhouse you will find the remainder of the garden, also enclosed. This portion of the garden is terraced and slopes slightly, with views across to the yard and surrounding countryside. Here you will find the heated swimming pool, undercover and just a very short walk from the house.
There is plenty of space for parking in the yard beside the property (enough for 8 cars)

Had a great stay, perfect for our needs. Kids loved the pool, the house is a great layout for big group gatherings. It’s quite remote and the lane up is quite steep, narrow and with a very sharp turn but the countryside is stunning.
The house layout and 'equipment' was good, pool was excellent. The Housekeeper reacted quickly to observations or requests. It was disappointing that the house wasn't a bit cleaner.
We had a great week. A lovely place for 3 generations to stay. The pool was a real bonus. We all loved it and it gave the children something fun to do after a day out. Beaches were only about half an hours drive away, with Dunster beach being the best. The weather was kind too.
What a lovely place! Perfect for our family weekend with ages from 1 to 70, the pool was a major attraction and kept the whole family entertained. Stunning location with great walks and farm animals that the children could see. Good amount of space in the house and plenty of plates etc and kitchen equipment.
